We have made drastic changes in our diet since we had a couple of health emergencies. Before we did eat a lot of quick and easy processed foods. Now we cook all of our foods. Turns out those pre-packaged heavily processed foods were slowly killing us.

I am going to break down what we are eating now.

Breakfast: Sometimes we skip and wait for lunch

  1. 2 maybe 3 Eggs with toast

  2. Peanut better on toast one slice

  3. Omelet with fresh onion, mushroom, peppers, tomato with toast

  4. Tomato parmesan quiche

  5. two ingredient pancakes (banana and egg) Pure Maple syrup and we use Carb smart

butter. Smart Balance is the brand

6. Cauliflower bagel with cream cheese

7. Greek Yogurt with berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries) I get the frozen and thaw it in plenty of time.

Lunch: we rarely eat lunch if we ate breakfast:

  1. Tuna salad with egg

  2. chopped power salad with grilled chicken we use very little chicken in the salad

  3. Mozzarella, Basil & Zucchini Frittata

  4. Turkey & Cheddar Lettuce Wraps

  5. Creamy Pesto Chicken Salad with Greens

  6. Taco lettuce wraps

  7. grilled bbq chicken on whole wheat


  1. One strip steak or sirloin steak lean we split in half about 2 oz each broccoli

  2. Half a piece of chicken with a Normandy mix vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, zuccini, squash and carrots)

  3. Salmon cakes with garden salad

  4. Lemon Garlic chicken (2oz) with frozen French style green beans sauteed in Avocado oil

  5. Blackened salmon with cauliflower, carrots and broccoli steamed with spices

  6. Roast beef lean cut, crock pot, celery, onion, frozen cut green beans, tiny carrots, beef broth and slow cooker packet for savory roast beef.

  7. Grilled chicken skin on, coated with chilli powder, served with brussel sprouts and honey carrots Maybe sweet corn.

Snacks: if we need a snack which is not often below are the go to's

  1. Jello

  2. popcicles

  3. peanut butter mixed with a little oats and dark chocolate chips rolled into a ball and refridgerated

  4. air fryer sweet potato chips

  5. veggies, radishes, cucumber, grape tomato, broccoli, cauliflower, mini sweet peppers dipped in buttermilk ranch dressing

  6. Celery sticks with peanut butter, or cream cheese and chives

  7. Cheese cubes we cut up, almonds, walnuts and grapes or strawberries
