Do you suffer from fibroids?

First, let me say this — if you are living with fibroids right now, I see you. I know the pain. I know the heavy days, the fatigue, the frustration of not feeling heard or helped. I know what it's like to sit in a doctor's office and be told that your only option is surgery or medication that doesn’t even address the root of the issue.
How do I know? Because I have been through it too. But I’m here to tell you — there is another way. And it begins with what’s on your plate, what’s in your mind, and what you allow into your spirit.
What Are Fibroids, Really?
Fibroids are noncancerous growths of the uterus, and for some women, they cause no pain or any other symptoms. But for many of us, they can cause everything — heavy bleeding, painful cycles, pressure, bloating, and even fertility issues. They are fueled by estrogen dominance, inflammation, and toxins that overload the body.

But here's the truth: your body is not broken. It’s overwhelmed. And food — real, living, healing food — is one of the most powerful tools you have to bring it back into balance.
I had surgery before I realized there was a better way.
After walking through unimaginable health crises in my own family, including cancer, surgery complications, infections, and ICU visits, I made it my mission to understand how healing really works. Not just symptom relief — but truthful healing.
I started to study food, natural medicine, hormones, inflammation, and the power of mindset. And what I discovered shocked me: maybe you too.
Some of the very foods we eat every day are feeding the fibroids we're trying to shrink.
It starts with the removal of everything we all thought was “healthy” and start again with knowledge that’s been kept quiet for too long.
The Foods That Hurt vs. The Foods That Heal
Let’s talk basics.
Foods to avoid when you're trying to heal fibroids:
Processed meats and packaged foods
Excess dairy
White sugar and refined carbs
Soy (especially unfermented)
High-caffeine drinks and alcohol
Plastics and chemicals in food packaging — yes, even those matter

Now, here’s where the power begins. And this is not all of it. I will do a workshop on fibroids and how to shrink them naturally. You may not need surgery. I would say try it for 3 months and check the sizes if they got bigger then do surgery but if they shrink, just keep doing the healthy foods.
Foods that heal include:
Leafy greens like kale, spinach, and arugula
Cruciferous vegetables — broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts
Berries, especially blueberries and raspberries (anti-inflammatory!)
Flaxseeds and chia seeds for balancing hormones
Turmeric and ginger for reducing inflammation
Clean water — lots of it...This is key!!
It's Not Just Food — It’s Mindset, Movement, and Faith
Healing fibroids holistically definitely not a quick fix— it’s a lifestyle shift. It’s waking up each day and asking, “How can I support my body today?” It’s turning stress into stillness, using movement to improve circulation, and most importantly — using your mind to believe healing is possible.
I’ve seen women reduce fibroid size. I’ve seen women avoid hysterectomies. I’ve seen women reclaim their bodies and their power — just by making aligned, consistent changes.
You Can Start Today
So here’s what I want to leave you with: You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start.
Start with your next meal. Start with one shift — swapping soda for infused water, or sugar for a healing smoothie. Start by asking questions. Start by believing that you deserve a body that feels good. Because you do. You absolutely do.
And if you don’t know where to begin, that’s what Better Days With Teri is here for. I’ve taken all the knowledge I gathered through my family’s journey and created resources to guide you, step by step, starting with a soon coming workshop on healing fibroids without surgery.
You’re not alone, and your healing is not only possible — it’s waiting for you. Please send an email to info@betterdayswithteri.com if you would like to know more about healing fibroids. Or any other complication you may be dealing with.
